The Embers "A Landmark Performance" 1984

I always loved Carolina beach music, mainly because it reminded me of those Myrtle Beach trips as a teenager and young adult. But it still reminds me of great times with my family today. The last trip we got to take was about 4 years ago, and I definitely miss it each summer that we aren't able to make the trip. The Embers were always the epitome of Carolina Beach music for me, because most of my beach trips were during the 80's. I find it funny how fans of the west coast beach music will go out of their way to "trash" Carolina beach music, while fans of Carolina beach music will often like BOTH kinds of music. Guess that's just how we are here in the south...Click on the picture for the album...(Warning: some of the banter during the concert are a bit risque in spots!)
